These are a bit faster than the transcend and work great in all HQ modes on the EX1 and EX3. Note: S&Q mode will not work with the kensington and SDHC combo. Also, the EX1 memory door will not close with the combo inserted. The EX3 door will close. You’re safer using the 16GB SanDisk Ulta II 15MB/s SDHC with the Kensington expresscard reader. The SD card he suggests has a write rate of 13 mbs, the Sony s x s card's transfer rate is 800 mbs. Am I comparing them correctly? What does the camera output? Going with the "maybe proprietary is better" thought, Sandisk has a Sandisk SDAD109A11 Digital Media Memory Card to Express Slot Adapter for about $17.00. Has anyone tried 16Gb cards.
